Brought my family here for dinner last night, and it was such a great experience! Despite the crowd it was definitely worth the wait. The staff were professional and handled the busy environment well, ensuring that the service remained top notch. The ambiance was pleasant and comfortable, even with the large crowd. We ordered the signature charcoal cooked claypot chicken rice, and wow the aroma alone was irresistible! The flavors were absolutely spot on, and the mix of tender chicken and pork was perfect. We also tried their soup, seafood tofu, and other dishes, all of which were delicious and exceeded expectations. Highly recommended and can’t wait to come back.

The chicken claypot rice is worth to eat as it is very fragance, tasty and nice especially the chicken is very tender. Must try items is the Seafood Beancurd, taste delicious. Just loving it!

Went to Heun Kee Claypot Chicken Rice (CTS) for lunch, and though the owner kindly apologized for offering only a selected menu due to a temporary lack of manpower, the experience was still fantastic. The food is not pre-cooked, so be prepared to wait around 30 minutes, but it’s worth it. They use traditional charcoal fire, which adds to the authenticity. You can even smell the burning charcoal, and it gives the rice an incredibly fragrant aroma. The smoked pork belly and the addition of ‘mui heong’ salted fish take the flavors to another level. I don’t mind the wait as the claypot chicken rice is cooked the authentic way. Plus, parking is easy as there’s a private parking ground nearby. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates quality and tradition!

Absolutely delicious! Had the chance to try Heun Kee’s signature claypot chicken rice with salted fish, cooked to perfection over charcoal, full of flavour and that irresistible smoky aroma. We also ordered glass lettuce with Crispy Garlic to go with the chicken rice. The Glass Lettuce with Crispy Garlic was the perfect complement to our meal. Incredibly crisp and refreshing, the fragrant, with toasted garlic make it superb. The restaurant is clean, well maintained, and has a comfortable atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic claypot chicken rice with great side dishes. Will definitely be coming back!
